Buying a different set of tools for each travel type is very expensive. So we need a set of electronic gadgets that fit majority of tours and all situations.
Next things that decide your gears is whether you want to to take photos, record video or vlogs which involves recording while walking or skiing etc.
Now move to the gear type needed for each scene.
Beach tour, adventure sports, trekking require a sturdy gear which can be used in rain, snow, dust and extreme temperatures and allow a super smooth video footage as well as ocassional photography. Gopro and DJI action camera are among the best camera which can fulfill all these needs.
These action camera also has very wide view to capture beautiful landscapes of nature. Action cameras are waterproof, dust proof.
Local tours to stage shows, musical concert and other social events does require carrying a huge camera so a good smartphone camera can handle all these requirements without need of special gear.
Tours to wildlife, bird photography require powerful zoom to capture fast moving and distant wildlife with ease. So simple point and shoot camera with high zoom lens can suffice the need.
